Stayed only one night before leaving to Singapore.
It is close from the checkpoint but you will still need a 10-15 min grab as there is no walk side.
The hotel would benefit from renovation, room has a smell of old carpet and windows Can't be opened.
Quite a noise from the road but I was able to sleep well on the confortable mattress.
Great shower plenty of hot water.
No convenience store at walking distance.
Reception staff was polite and helpfull.
For the price and a stopover it's ok and seems it's the crowd they cater for.

I recently stayed at Hako Hotel JBCC and had a mixed experience. The hotel offers good value for money, but there are a few areas that need improvement.Pros:Affordable Rates: The room rates are very reasonable compared to other hotels in Johor Bahru.Comfortable Bed: The bed was comfortable, which made for a good night's sleep.Helpful Staff: The staff were polite and helpful throughout my stay.Location: Near the CIQ/ JB Sentral and highway to many popular places in Johor.Basic Amenities: The room had a complimentary bottled water, tea, coffee. The air conditioning worked well, and the toilet has a bidet.Cons:Location: The hotel is somewhat isolated, located on the periphery of a housing estate. There is only 1 eatery next to it, a bak kut the restaurant.Addiitonal bed availability: We asked for a cot and it seems like hotel does not provide such items.Toilet size: Slighlty smaller than what I was used to.Toilet door: made of glass. so if the light is switched on at night, it will be too bright to sleep.Limited Breakfast: The complimentary breakfast was very basic, consisting of toast, eggs, porridge, and coffee/tea.

Room is spacious and clean. Aircon is cold, basic amenities all provided (include toothbrush & toothpaste).
Free carpark within hotel compound with security guard.
Rate is reasonable.
The room is facing main road, in the morning could hear some traffic noise. Not unbearable though.
