1. 位於舊街場，鄰近旅遊景點二奶巷
2. 附設免費泊車
3. 由舊金鋪和銀行改建，富有特色

缺點：
1. 房間設備殘舊，保養不好，熱水爐壞了，熱水供應不足；只有頭頂蓮蓬頭，沒有手持花灑頭…
2. 面向大馬路的房間十分嘈吵，難以入睡，對音量敏感的人要注意

You won’t find somewhere better and more authentic to stay in Ipoh then here. The beautiful old bank building with all its original details has been refurbished into several unique high quality rooms and the personal service and location couldn’t be better. There is free car parking across the road, several (local as well as western style) cafes and restaurants around the corner and it’s right in the middle of the old town. Highly recommend.

Amazing property. The building is so historic and the kind lady at reception gave us a brief history of the place. It was very interesting. The room was spotlessly clean. The location was perfect as the main area around Concubine Lane was literally a 2 minute walk. There are many cafes and restaurants nearby. I would definitely stay here again next time I'm in Ipoh.

I am writing this review without staying a night in Sarang Paloh. My wife and I had the hotel booked for 3 nights. My wife was coming down with a cold the day of our arrival and was in need of a place to rest up for at least one day for sure and likely more. We needed a room with 2 beds and the comforts of a higher end modern hotel. Upon arrival, we realized this wasn’t the place. So why the 5 star review? Despite the last minute cancellation, we were refunded all of our money. I thought this integrity and consideration warranted a thank you - and this 5 star review is our way of saying thank you to Sarong Paloh.

Worst hotel I ever stayed in. No lift and 29 steps leading to my hotel room plus 17 steps inside. Awkward design with no table. no where to seat to have a cup of tea. unbearable heat, despite working a/c over bed under the roof and standing very noisy ventilator, room could not hold the temperature agreeable to feel okay. I was sweating like in sauna and no amount of showers taken could help this situation. Room extremely noisy all the time due to old building , huge floor to ceiling old window with gaps and very close proximity to the main road. One night road work was happening right under my window from 1 am until 4 am. No shut eye there all night. One day after the rain roof in the room was leaking and I had a pool in the coffee amenities tray .Water in the bathroom burning hot and I was very careful not to scald myself. Towels are very old and see through. To reach the bed you need to climb over 15 steps of terrible design, I heart my toes and heels several time. The pillows are flat like a pancakes.
It is so hot there during the night that you will be tossing and turning while trying to get a shut eye. You will get two small bottles of water and two sachets of coffee per day. to watch TV you need to seat on the floor under the stairs . Steps are protruding and once I badly heart my forehead. Overall it is the MOST TERRIBLE HOTEL I EVER BEEN TO.

The room are clean and nice. They have a security at the night which is actually very safe. Good location, you can walk to multiple tourist spot. However, the condiments provided in the bathroom can be better by labelling the shampoo

I arrived at the hotel after a tiring journey lugging our luggages, and to my horror, the hotel main door was locked and a notice was put up at the entrance saying the staff will not be backed till an hour later. We tried to contact the hotel but failed. It was so frustrating. I contacted the booking website and they too couldn't contact the hotelier and so gave me a refund. We had to look for another accommodation to spend the night.

网上发现这间处于怡保旧街场的老房子改造酒店,而且酒店也有停车位,再加上评价很好,于是决定就住这间了。
位置>处于怡保旧街场,离旧街场的景点都在距离脚程的十分钟之内。
客房>虽然是老房子,但打扫得蛮干净,而且基本设施齐全,空调也够冷。
停车位>处于酒店对面(第二间)的老店改造,可以停放大概9辆车,虽然看起来很少停车位,但接待员说一般住这间酒店的顾客都是外国人或是搭乘公共交通来入住的比较多,基本上停车位是够的。而且半夜时停车场是会关门的,早上大概七点会开回,所以停在那里是比较安全的。
接待员>无论早、夜班的接待员都很友善,而且很亲切。
老房子改造的酒店,所以显得古色古香,而且在屋子中央有个美丽的庭院,但可惜庭院的花草种得不是那么美!
还有必须注意的是,三间面向大路的客房隔音效果不好,半夜是能很清晰听到马路上的车辆飞驰而过的噪音;还有斜对面的酒吧每开门一次,强劲的音乐就会清晰的听到。
