This was our go to spot to eat in Tekek Village. The restaurant has really great vibe and the staff were really friendly and engaging. The food was of good quality and reasonably priced. |Most notably the black pepper lamb and the dry turmeric fry. |IMHO the best place to eat in Tekek Village

I stayed at the dormitory, shared room. No expectations at all. The room is OK, staff is great and it is directly on the beach with coral reefs right in front. I went for a refresh dive with Safar after 13 years. He took care of everything. It was great staying there. Highly recommend.

Just completed two fun dives with Safar today. Wonderful guide and kind human being. Felt save the entire time since regularly checked on us and provided a very welcoming atmosphere. Very aware of every diver and the ocean environment. Pointed out various species and corals.

Recommend him and the diving centre 100%.

So far, I would say the best place to stay in Tioman Island. Their restaurant has a perfect view of the sunset + the friendly cats. very homely vibe. The crew and staff are very friendly and respectful. So much respect to this place. highly recommend Tioman Cabana.
Oh by the way, they dont serve alcoholic drinks. cheers!

Un emplacement idyllique sur une île de rêves...
Les repas sont copieux et très bon avec un large choix de plats asiatiques ou européens.
Pas besoin de faire des kilomètres pour faire un petit tour de snorkeling, il suffit d aller en face...
Et le meilleur pour la fin, le staff.. Souriant, serviable, toujours présent pour donner des conseils ou échanger un petit mot...
Vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés.

Absolutely Disgraceful and Heartbreaking Experience. A Warning to All Visitors. ||||My family and I recently visited Tioman Island for a long-awaited family reunion. As part of our plans, we made a reservation at Tioman Cabana Beach Bistro a place I used to hold in high regard, having visited the island regularly for over a decade. What transpired there was beyond appalling, and I feel it is my responsibility to warn others.||Despite the steep and difficult stairs, my elderly father managed to reach the reserved seating area, only for us to be approached minutes later by a staff member who called my sister aside and informed us that we needed to leave. No explanation at first. Just asked to go.||We later learned this was due to some personal dispute between a dive instructor by the name of Sham/Syam (who is also a business partner of this very bistro) with a mutual friend of our family member regarding their diving package, a situation that had nothing to do with each one of us. This was pure, petty vengeance, completely unprofessional, and shameful. Punishing a family including an elderly man over a matter unrelated to us is beyond comprehension.||The staff member even had the audacity to say they didn’t want our business and that they had enough foreign support anyway. Hearing such arrogant and divisive words from a fellow Malaysian was especially painful. It reflects a disturbing level of pride and egotism that has clearly grown over the years. Tioman Cabana has lost all sense of humility, respect, and hospitality.||I am deeply saddened and angered by this experience. We were humiliated for no good reason. If you are considering visiting or recommending this place, please think twice. No one deserves to be treated like this, especially not loyal visitors or families just trying to enjoy their time together.||To the management: You know what you did was wrong. Shame on you.||Ps: there is no point of you trying to instigate others to not post a review of the actual incident, every consumer has their rights to give a review.
