I had a very unpleasant experience with Metropolitan travel service Sibu branch,it felt very much like a ripoff/daylight robbery for being non Malaysian (one British and one Singapore passport holders)
We asked our sister who lives in Sibu to book a return flight from Singapore to Sibu.she said they only charge minimal commission,So 3 flights with air Asia and 1 with Scoot were booked with 1 hold luggage. The final price was astronomical, no itemised bill only a handwritten piece of paper with the total costs.
On top of that they refused to accept cheque/ credit card only accepting cash. Compared to the airlines website the prices they charged were double.
The customer service when contacted was unhelpful and rude.
Subsequently we will probably write to Sarawak Tourist Board
