For pre-sunset, lebih baik ambil kapal pada 5:30 pm. Jika Anda inginkan foto pas sunset seperti yang saya ambil, saya ambil kapal pada 6 pm.

Had an incredible experience aboard the Sarawak Traditional Cruise. For just RM19 per person, the one-hour journey offered a scenic and relaxing ride along the river.

We set sail at 6 PM, just in time to witness the breathtaking sunset over the water. The atmosphere was serene, and the views were stunning.

A pleasant surprise was the presence of a tour guide who was accompanying a group from Hungary. He generously shared insights into the history and significance of Sarawak’s riverside, adding depth to the experience.

It was a nice experience cruising the Sarawak river with this traditional boat. It will bring you to all the attractions so that you can have a closer look and take some good pictures. It's nice to have a slow and relaxing boat ride in the evening.

The Sarawak traditional boat cruise is a smaller version of the Sarawak River Cruise. This one, you get into a much smaller boat and they take you up the river to see some of the old Sarawak buildings and forts.

Price is much cheaper than the main cruise and the time is about 50-60 minutes. It's a fun experience if you have the time to kill, and yes, there's no crocodiles in the water. For the price, it's really worth it if you ask me, and please do it on a clear day so you can take some really nice photos.

For tickets, you can just buy it from the boat operator who is at the jetty where the cruise departs.

📌Sarawak River Boating

Since time in memorial, boating across the Sarawak River has been a main means of crossing the river for locals to reach the hustle and bustle of Kuching town; and only for the smallest fee imaginable, Rm1/person!
Till this very day, despite Jambatan Darul Hana being recently built, working adults and students still commute across using the traditional boats.

The boat ride makes for a very serene experience. As you ride on the boat, you could picture how in the previous centuries the 'rakyat' commuted through boats like these for their very sustenance.
I suggest giving more than Rm1/person when your ride ends. These boatmen have been doing this for years. Give them a tip and be generous! 😇

傍晚搭游船游覽沙撈越河，天氣不算太晴朗，但夕陽和晚霞中的遠山近水椰林亭榭也是非常秀麗，一派濃鬱的熱帶風情。
