Great place for hiking as a beginner. Less than 1 hour hike to reach the colourful 328 stairs. Moderate level hike. Very calming and peaceful nature. Pathway is quite small but clear and clean.

Moderately easy from carpark to the peak. Very colourful and eye-catching statues and sculptures. Steps might be challenging for some. Rest areas are along the hill to provide pitstops and photo-taking.

There’s two option to reach the top, either by the colourful stairs or by the hiking path.

Lots of fruit trees especially durians, rambutan, mangosteens and nutmeg. Be careful for the falling of durians.

Few dogs at the top but worry not they do not bite or trouble at all. Friendly dogs.

Beautiful view of Bukit Mertajam from the top. The penang bridge is visible too if it’s not hazy.

Highly recommended! Suitable for whole family.

View atas memang cantik tapi perlukan pengorbanan dulu awal2 untuk sampai ke tangga 328 tuhh. Sini ada anjing jaga kebun but don't worry sebab anjing2 situ tak kacau orang. Untuk parking, boleh parking kat bawah yg ada tangung2 cina. Kalau boleh yg nk p hiking, naik motor untuk time weekend sebab kalau time weekend ramai sikit. Untuk trail sini, trail bersimen dan memang mencanak naik. Bagi yg tak bawa air, boleh beli air dekat atas sekali lepas naik tangga 328 tuh sebab kat atas ada jual minuman botol dan tin sejuk.

Very very nice place. Relax. If too tired. You can skip the 328 stairs. It still very nice up there. Is a must go place for me. Like a heaven at the ground 😍

Start from this point here. In less than an hour, can already reach the rainbow stairs. The hiking route is suitable for beginner. Plenty of break point here where you can sit and rest. After you reach at one point, you can see a view of Bukit Mertajam city and if it not hazy, it is possible to see penang bridge from here! (Refer my photo) Up until you see a junction, there is a sign written 328. If you want to go and see the rainbow stairs, you can go straight follow the 328 sign. If you turn right, im not sure where it heads to. Maybe puncak bukit tok kun.

Nice place to heal yourself. Go out and see nature. But please, keep our forest clean and don't make rubbish. Sorry if my english are bad. But i don't care as long as you can understand my message.

This is a popular hiking trail in Bukit Mertajam. Hikers can park their cars at the foot of the hill and climb up the trail. It is not too difficult. There are no treacherous bends or slopes. It is just that the trail is narrow (as trails should be) and long. It took us about an hour to reach the foot of the rainbow stairway. Along the way, we can view parts of BM town and come across snakes and other small animals.
