Little beautiful island!!! The staff is so friendly and attentive!!! Thanks to everyone and Sheena!!! The food was fantastic, breakfast, lunch and dinner delicious, nothing to complain about… we booked the little A frame, simple, but everything you need, turquoise water, white sand… perfect for relaxing, chilling,reading, snorkeling and napping in the hammock

Perfect place to spend your vacation. We stayed here in Alang's Rawa for 4D3N and it was fun and super relaxing. It was the first time we took our 8-month old baby to the beach and she really enjoyed it. All staff are so friendly and accommodating.
Sheena provided all the things/requests we need especially for our baby so everything went smoothly.
Food were great! They serve variety of dishes every meal.
And of course, the view. Beach is so clean, my baby enjoyed dipping in and then playing in the fine white sand. We've also walked around the island and reached the hilltop with an amazing view! Sunset here is very pretty.

We will surely come back here.

We are from Singapore and travel regularly to resorts in Malaysia. Excellent service, clean rooms with heated showers and air-conditioning. Staff manager Sheena was friendly, warm and reasonable with our requests. Recent tidal conditions (unexpected) have led to the need for sandbags. It can be an eyesore for some but it didn’t affect our experience in any way. Everything was within a few steps, food abundant and tasty made using quality ingredients. The picture below shows high tide in the morning. When we spoke to the staff, we learned:

A. The staff do this for our safety. They are constantly monitoring the situation.
B. This sandbag issue has nothing to do with the quality of service and standard of the resort.
C. Service staff come from Myanmar and go through training. For the hardship they have been through, their command of English and service is excellent.

I would come back here again and just hope that nature will be favourable for the sustainability of this island.

I don't usually give 5 stars, and this one deserves it. Beachside cabins, extremely clean, the food is absolutely fantastic, the treatment of guests is A1. On Saturdays there is a barbecue, there is a huge fish that you can tell is cooked for several hours at a low temperature and with a coconut and citrus sauce that you will try only a few times in your life. Great stay with perfect food and comfortable rooms, the towels and sheets always smell good and that says a lot about the place. The owners live in the hotel and are attentive to every little detail, even making sure that the chair at your table to enjoy your banquet faces the sea. They take perfect care of every tiny detail. Much better than the neighboring hotel, which is very crowded and a little disorganized. I recommend this one blindly, much more intimate, like being at home. We will definitely return, from the south of Spain, and we will recommended it to our Spanish family and friends. The team in Alang is friendly and helpful and this includes their jetty staff, boat crew as well. The pictures you see online are real! The island is simply beautiful beyond words. The island is preserved and not commercialized. So as long as you come here with the right expectations and respect mother nature, you will surely enjoy the endless soft white sand and crystal-clear sea. The food served is delicious and has a good variety. You will leave the island planning your next trip back!

We had a sensational 3-day getaway - the sand at the beach so white that it's almost unreal; the water in Caribbean blues; excellent food and the staff super-friendly + helpful. Overall, a very relaxed atmosphere; we'll definitely be back!

For reference: we are from Singapore and spend the majority of our weekend getaways between Malaysia and Indonesia.
We usually don’t bother to give a review but unfortunately the experience with the local management here has been quite disturbing.

Not all is bad, generally restaurant staff for the most part is friendly and the food is not bad (actually it is really good) especially considering the remote location.

It’s just the way that management is treating guests, calling us out when we raised our concerns on how the beach looked like and that the there are tripping hazards because of the sandbags around the beach.

Snorkeling is nice in the area but overall wouldn’t recommend it, especially considering the high price.
