Trasa umiarkowanie wymagającą- nie jest to wejście na K2, ale też nie niedzielny spacerek po parku. Biorąc pod uwagę temperaturę i wilgotność, trochę potu można wylać. Sam blue pool jest miłym zwieńczeniem półmetka trasy ( powrót zajmuje +/- tyle samo, ale inną trasą, góra/dół). Na trasie sporo zwierząt do obserwacji.

Not an easy hike, but definitely doable even for beginners. Fair bit of climbing over boulders and tree trunks, as well as stream crossing, so shoes with good grips are highly recommended. The resort suggested 3-4 hrs to complete, but if you're a regular hiker, the loop can be completed in under 2 hours.

There are a few sections after the pool where the markers are not very clear.

This trail is easy to follow without a guide as there are coloured signs at trees. The blue pool looks clean and nice but at the moment, the staff did not allow us to swim so as to not bother the colour and cleanliness of the pool. However, it is a waste that you're not allowed to swim in a nice pool after a long and tiring hike. The hike itself is moderate as it needs careful steps and alertness. The trail is fun as it goes in a loop. But it is still beginner friendly as long as they aren't too weak. Entrance fee is required as it is under Permai Rainforest Resort management.

Fantastic albeit challenging trail through the jungle! You have to get to the start of the trail via the Eco Permai Resort and pay a RM10 entry fee when registering your details. There is a carpark right at the top of hill close to the entry.

The trail is well marked (follow the red and white markers) and begins pretty easy with flat level ground. However about 1 hour in, you’ll be navigating through streams and also a few “climbs” as you ascend. Lots of well trodden paths and footholds to help you along the way. If you have moderate fitness, you’ll be fine!

The temperature is still cool between 9-11 am in early December but the air does get heavy with the humidity. Go slow, be patient and maintain steady breathing.

You’ll find yourself ascending then descending before getting to the beautiful Blur Pool. The pool appeared to be quite shallow and cool to touch.

Overall, it took us about 3.5 hours to complete the full loop. We went slowly and took the time to appreciate the flora and fauna we came across.

Probably went during a bad time, blue pool was murky and stagnant.
A few ropes were not maintained and broke, causing a few section being quite dangerous.
Not recommended for beginner without a hiking shoe, as it can be dangerous.
Hopefully Permai management can do a better maintenance, keeping the ropes intact.
There were leeches too so bring salts.

It's an enjoyable place when it's clean, the pool is clear and the soil is dry. In fact it was a fun hike! I advice everyone who plan to visit to bring along extra plastic/garbage bag to pick up the rubbish along the trail. Let's leave nothing, but only great memories.
