I recently stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful experience. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with modern amenities that made the stay relaxing. The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to assist with a smile. The location was convenient, close to attractions and transport, which made exploring the area easy. I didn't actually stay there. I went to their buffet high tea for my father birthday. I contacted them via WhatsApp and they replied fast with gave me all the details. On the day, we had delicious food. The food there is absolutely amazing. The staff are very kind and polite. They took very good care of us. We had a perfect day there. And I'm going there again with some of friends. I highly recommend trying the sambal nyonya, its top notch. Because of the birthday, they gave us complimentary cake to celebrate. They prepared everything perfect. Thank you so much for the hotel management. You all were amazing.

This hotel in JB is recommended. Clean. Service staff are attentive. Food was ok, could be better though of they added more western options because what they served was mostly spicy in the morning.

My husband and I always choose Capri by Fraser Johor Bahru for a short vacation, and we especially like the concept of the Studio Executive room. We've stayed here at least 10 times. The main reasons we love this hotel are its proximity to JB Customs and the spacious rooms with a dining table.||The receptionists, F&B staff, and housekeepers are always friendly and helpful. Although the hotel is still well-maintained, we’ve noticed some areas that could be of attention. Some of the cabinets are peeling, dirty, and rusty. Cleanliness could also be improved — particularly in the corners by the bedside, which have a lot of dust, and we’ve found black stains on the pillows. Additionally, the bed and pillows are too soft, likely from prolonged use.||We will definitely return, but we hope the hotel can make improvements, including possible refurbishments, to attract even more guests.

I stayed at this hotel recently and was very disappointed. The quality and service do not match its star rating at all. The staff were not attentive and didn’t seem to remember or follow up on guest requests, which made the stay quite frustrating.

Very disappointing experience. The hotel’s facilities and service are far below what you would expect from a star-rated property. The in-room TV browser is completely outdated — even basic functions like watching YouTube don’t work, as the system asks to update the browser which isn’t possible.

When I called customer service for assistance, I was told that they could not help. No alternative solution was offered, and it felt like they didn’t care about resolving the issue.

Overall, the hotel failed to meet basic expectations for comfort and service. It’s definitely not worth the star rating or the price. Poor maintenance, outdated technology, and unhelpful staff made this a very disappointing stay.

部屋は広く清潔で、景色も素晴らしい。電子レンジもあるので助かります。ホテルとしては超おすすめです。||ただし、JB Sentral方面(CIQ)から歩いていくにはつながっている歩道がないので、車道を横切るか、車道の脇をすり抜けていくかのどちらかが必要で(地元民はそうしている)、知らないとハードルが高いかも(シンガポール直通のMRTが工事中で、ホテルのすぐ脇に駅を造っているので、開通すれば超便利だが)。場合によっては(大荷物・子供連れ)、距離的には近くてもタクシー利用を考慮すべき。

I had an excellent stay at Capri by Fraser Johor Bahru! The location is convenient with plenty of amenities nearby. The room was spotless and well-maintained, with great attention to detail. The staff were friendly, professional, and made the check-in and check-out process smooth and hassle-free. Facilities like the gym and swimming pool were well-kept and enjoyable. Overall, it was a very comfortable experience, and I would highly recommend this hotel to both business and leisure travelers. I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Johor Bahru!

We stayed at the One Room Deluxe King at Capri by Fraser for the first time. The room was clean (most importantly it was not carpeted but with wood flooring as we dislike carpeted rooms as carpet harbours bacteria and smell after some time even though it looks clean), it was bright with lots of natural light, and spacious with the bedroom separated from the living room and kitchenette. It has a huge attached bathroom with bath tub too. The kitchenette was equipped with a two-door tall fridge, a sink with water faucet, a microwave, an electric stove and hood and a decent-sized counter table top with two bar stools. This room has no washing machine. Our room was overlooking the CIQ and the shoreline of northern Singapore. Walking to Jalan Jim Quee (CIQ Taxi Stand / Drop-off) was a short 5-minute walk and one would be at Century Square in no time. After this stay, we would be more inclined to try our next Capri stay in Kuala Lumpur with longer duration on our next trip.
