Took a guided tour to satang island. The driver/tour guide promptly picked us up at our hotel. The tour guide was very knowledgeable throughout the whole trip. We saw crocodile, dolphins and baby sea turtle. We also did snorkeling. The water wasn't clear enough to see much. The only downside was the provided lunch. Other than that, 4.5 star. Highly recommend ed. The whole tour took about 6 hrs including car transportation.

La nota non molto positiva è dovuta alla guida che ci ha accompagnato: poche spiegazioni, soprattutto risposto alle domande del gruppo. Ma mentre il barcaiolo cercava gli animali lui...sonnecchiava!

We did 2 tours with CPH. First the santubong river cruise. We saw two dolphins, some probiscous monkeys, few fireflies and maybe for a short while some crocodiles eyes. We highly recommend bringing a good camera and a binocular to watch the wildlife. You're not in a zoo ;). The guides were very friendly and tried really hard to find wildlife. In addition to that the area is beautiful, lots of mangroves and a small fishermen village. We were 5 tourists.
Some days later we also did the kayaking. This was so beautiful. The whole area is fantastic. I loved the fish feeding! After the kayaking they offer nice and clean bathrooms to take a shower and a delicious lunch. We were really lucky, no other people booked this tour on that day so it was only the two of us. We advise booking during weektimes, then there might be less people than Saturday, sunday or at public holidays.

We made a trip in the Ukom Longhouse. I think one of the best experiences in my life. You have to be able to adapt yourself, but is a lifetime experience. Anthony was a great guide and made everything to make this experience great.

Signed up for mangrove river cruise with dolphin spotting, the latter being the highlight for the kids. While CPH's rep clarified that there were no guarantees with wildlife spotting, boat captain Shah and tour leader Oma put in effort to locate the dolphins on the river. The captain masterfully steered the boat to follow the creatures while maintaining a safe distance, letting the dolphins be the ones to approach instead. It was a wonderful experience,... watching the pod play in a natural setting.

Trip started with timely pickup from our hotel, and drive to a pier in Sanbutong area. Oma explained the plan, and shared tidbits of local info as we drove pass various areas. At the secluded pier, and with life jackets on, we set off in motor boat to look for dolphins. 30 mins into ride and the dolphins were spotted. The next part of ride was to look for crocs (didn't spot any) and to see local fishermen at work on each single-manned boats. Light refreshment & bottled water was provided, followed by a calm and breezy ride back to the pier.
