Breakfast was great, living up to the IHG Express name. The team at Holiday Inn Express Johor Bahru is well-trained and attentive to guests’ needs. Cleanliness, attentiveness, quiet, and comfort were consistently maintained throughout my stay. The rooms were tidy and well-kept, offering a peaceful environment to rest after a long day. The staff were always ready with a smile and helpful recommendations. Overall, a very enjoyable stay that reflects the quality and reliability I’ve come to expect from the Holiday Inn Express brand.

Hotel Stay Experience||I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, providing a relaxing environment throughout my visit.||The breakfast buffet was excellent, offering a wide variety of delicious food choices that catered to different tastes. The overall presentation and quality were impressive.||A special mention goes to Calvin, who is currently doing his internship at the buffet breakfast area. He was very attentive, polite, and professional in his service. His friendly attitude and willingness to assist guests added a warm and personal touch to the dining experience.||Overall, I truly enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend the hotel for its cleanliness, good food, and excellent service.

Stay 7-10th Oct 25. Second time. Accompany my husband foe his meeting. Comfortable and pleasant stay throughout - apart for drilling noise next door yesterday. ||A good selection menu for breakfast to suit every taste. But today's bbq chicken smell a bit 'off'. Not sure if the marinade sauce or else. ||Friendly and helpful front office, courteous houkeeping-duo and ever-effecient breakfast crew at the Great Room. Spoken to a nice crew Bitna today. Did not realize that staffs are wearing name tag, otherwise I would have put down a lot more names. Insyaa Allah, for the next visit.

good as usual, i stay here when i go to JB. reception is so friendly even after im checking out especially yesterday with raihan, he is charming. breakfast nothing special, the food is okay, but please give more variety of it||the shuttle i never try because i keep only stay for one night. it got nothing in the area so i keep use gr*b apps. but okay

From the moment we arrived, this hotel exceeded all expectations with its incredible hospitality and attention to detail. Check-in was a breeze, thanks to Zara, who made us feel welcome right away. The kindness continued when Mulyana ensured we received an upgraded room, making our stay even more comfortable and memorable.

A special appreciation goes to General Manager Sigit Wiantoro, whose leadership is clearly reflected in the warm and professional service throughout the hotel.

We were fortunate to have Roshim as our Room Attendant, whose dedication to maintaining a spotless and cozy environment truly stood out.

The Breakfast Buffet was a highlight of our stay! The spread was impressive, and the egg station was especially fantastic—shoutout to the talented egg maker for serving up delicious breakfasts every morning.

The restaurant staff were phenomenal, with Bilma & Yuli offering friendly and attentive hosting, and Visha providing excellent service that made each meal an enjoyable experience.

One of the most impressive aspects of this hotel is its commitment to sustainability. They promote a greener stay by rewarding guests with 500 extra points for energy conservation—a thoughtful initiative we deeply appreciate, as we try to be mindful of our energy usage anyway. It was wonderful to see a hotel actively recognizing and encouraging eco-friendly efforts.

With exceptional staff, top-tier service, and an admirable dedication to sustainability, this hotel is truly a gem. We wholeheartedly recommend it and look forward to returning!

The hotel is clean and tidy. I like that they label their pillow for soft and firm so we choose our preferred pillow. At cafeteria, Abbas gave very good service to us and settled issues reported accordingly.

1 star. Checked in early but staff still didn’t get the card key ready when I returned at night. Poor location with nothing nearby. Breakfast was mediocre and tasteless and overcrowded. Aircon was loud and bed creaky. Laundry room smell bad when walked past. Won’t stay again even if free.
