The apartment is clean, neat and well maintained. Furniture, beds, sofa, television are good enough for use.  4 queen size beds are provided for 8 person use.  Basic amenities are available too.  There are many food options around this location. The only issue is that the 2 access card failed to allow the lift to open to unit 33-06.  We had to seek help from the booking office and security guard to look into this lift accessibility issue and it took half an hour each time to resolve it.  The owner has to resolve the access card problem to avoid lift accessibility issue.

We check-in on the 15 sept 2025 and checked the whole unit and found at the balcony sliding glass door was faulty. We used a boom to secure end to end to ensure that the door was not open by others. After our checked out date on the 16 sept 2025, we realized that the boom that was secure the door was broken into half. We checked our belonging and nothing was taken away. We had a scary encounter and suspect a broke in case by other. We informed the person in charge but no response from them. We will not stay in that apartment anymore

1. Cleanliness was really quite average. There were visible crumbs left on the carpet and the floor was sticky in some areas. There was no shower curtain so the floor was fully wet up one pax showering. Toilet paper rolls were obviously previously soaked but dried out; which is rather hygienic. 2. Location: The only saving grace is being next to KSL mall. Albeit old, has many amenities. 3. Long waiting time for lift at check out time

Received a unit thats wasn't same as pictured, but I really appreciated the change. I booked a double bed + 1 bunk bed, but I was given 2 double bed + 1 bunk bed. Plenty of bed to lie on. Only stayed for a few hours, but it was a comfortable stay. Management were very responsive and I appreciate the help! Will come back to this unit if I were to stay in ksl again.Cleanliness is a 4* because the square cushions smelled awful. Maybe can just wash or discard them. Otherwise, everything is clean 🙂

Maintained well & clean.
Easy self check-in/out procedures (appreciate that the deposit was waived, else that could be a hassle/a turnoff).
Very happy with the 4-bedroom Apt: who doesn't like to occupy 1 whole room by himself/herself

I would like to express this bad experience on my first staycay at this Apartment.
This is my first time , to avoid getting my way lost, I had booked GRAB. Unfortunately, their apartment address in AGODA is incorrect and this can lead to miscommunication and i almost had an argument with the driver over the address. The driver was also trying to help and he had asked repeatedly if this is the correct address as it brought us to a Indian family apartment. I told him the address was stated in my booking. Not only address is incorrect, the AGODA mentioned "JB SHOPPING MALL APARTMENT". For good sake, suggest Owner of this Apartment to please change it "D'Esplanade Residence" next to KSL Mall. The Indian family also seems annoyed as am sure I am not the only traveller knocking their door, and was told their address was being used. This is so bad. Upon reaching, there is only 2 security at the carpark and best part is there is no receptionist. They have A & B which i assume is their Block. B got no access, and i have to wait when someone came out from the apartment. Tried calling the owner to clarify, they just decline my calls and they only chat on WhatsApp only. I am running out of patience by then....
The room is spacious, but tv is not working. Due to the poor network connectivity, it got hang easily and after loading some time, it will go back to main screen which is of no use watching.
This apartment probably suitable for family. But defiantely not for my type. I cannot stand the noise coming from the neighbours as they talked very loud and we can hear clear and sharp. Especially when middle of the night half way asleep but got awake by the neighbours noise, and also early morning another group of family were loud and we got awake. Luckily we booked for one night. We did not sleep well and can't imagine if we were to stay for days and to tolerate all the loud noise.
Next is the lift, we were allocate to level 35. The lift is super slow, plus during peak time and checkout time, we waited almost 15-20mins for the lift and everyone is squeezing the lift.
This will be my first and last visit. A very bad experience and defiantely not recommending to my friends/families.
it still depends on individual stay, Probably there are still some others who can accept.

Very clean and rooms are well-furnished. Kitchen was very sparse, only had one pot for cooking and a microwave. No cooking utensils.

Master bedroom toilet has a nice bathtub but no grab bars or non-slip mats. Living room rug also didn’t have a non-slip base.

Overall a great place to stay but maybe not suitable for young kids or elderly.

We have a frightening experience during our stay— the lift suddenly dropped and stopped between level 3 and 4. We weee trapped inside with six other guests for about 15 minutes before the help arrived, and we had to crawl out to safety. This is a serious safety issue and I hope the host takes immediate action to ensure it never happens again. I also provided feedback to the host but have yet to receive any response.
