AC settings couldn't be adjusted, room has no windows, price is stupidly expensive for a "budget hotel". RM 200 for a double bed? No thanks, not again

I am cyclist that passby Kampar and found this hotel, the receptionist Ah Poh is very kind and friendly.
He let me park my bike inside the room.
Room is clean and toilet no smell.
The hotel is bicycle friendly, you can keep your bicycle into they office .

Didn't expect to see the excellent condition of the hotel based on the price paid. My room was well-maintained, the bathroom was very clean, the facilities well fully provided by the hotel. Just like a standard 4-star hotel.

The receptionists were very friendly and polite, full of professionalism in handling their jobs. The processes of check in and check out were pretty convenient and fast. There was also room service every morning at the hotel.

Even though the location of the hotel is quite far from the city centre, but there's still a lot of shops and restaurants around the area. The parking lots in front of the hotel are also quite a lot and well-lit, beside the main road to Ipoh-Simpang Pulai, which is quite an advantage for hotels like this.

I am not regretting staying at this hotel for I had a good experince here. Might rebook the hotel if I go to Ipoh next time.

The service was good. Receptionists were friendly. Amenities provided was okay and overall environment was clean.

Foremost this is a budget hotel so don t expect even a 2 star rating. However fret not as all you need a clean room, hot shower and minimum fuss. ||||The ceramic tile floor is clean n please remove your shoes in your room as every one in Asia would do so in their own house. If you r a westerner not used to walking barefoot please bring a pair of bedroom slippers.||||There is no bathtub or shower screen as such so you will have a wet bathroom floor as with most older Asian homes without glass screens.||||There is a free bottle of water but you can buy soft drinks up front at reception.||||If there were any thing that leaves me with a good impression it s the receptionist comments 'my boss insist on cleanliness'||||Any dampeners ?rooms upstair facing greenery and main trunk road will be noiser. other rooms you might not get a window! at night if there were loads of guests you will hear noises as the room is not so soundproof.
