**🚨 COMPLAINT & WARNING TO OTHERS ABOUT \[Car Rental Company Name] 🚨**
I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with the poor service and unprofessional conduct I experienced when renting a car from this company. I feel it's necessary to **strictly warn others to seriously doubt their services** before considering any bookings.
Here’s what happened:
* I booked a rental car **a month in advance** and paid the deposit to secure it.
* The agent decided to deliver the car a night before the actual rental date – which was earlier than agreed, but I was okay with it.
* However, the **real problem started with the runner** who was assigned to deliver the car.
We agreed to meet **before 9:30 PM**. By **10:30 PM**, I still had **not received the car**, even after following up multiple times. He claimed he was “near the traffic light,” which I assumed meant just a few minutes away.
But guess what?
⏱️ **He only messaged me again at 11:50 PM** — saying he couldn’t park at the designated location, which is ridiculous because it’s **my workplace**, and I’ve **previously rented cars** to the exact same location with **zero issues**.
Then he insisted that I come down **at midnight** to sign the papers, despite the fact that he was **1.5 hours late**, breaking the agreed-upon time. I told him to **drop the keys and sign-off with my colleague at the hotel**, but he **refused**.
By **12:30 AM**, he messaged again saying he had **left**, and told me to **ask the admin for a refund**. I was asleep by then as I had to wake up at 4 AM for a trip.
Because of this delay and **complete failure in service delivery**, **my group and I missed our transportation plans**, had to rush to the airport trying to find another rental (which we failed to get), and the whole day turned into chaos.
And the **most disgusting part**?
The runner **sarcastically told me** that I should just “buy my own car” instead of renting — as if it’s my fault for expecting the service I already **paid for**.
He even claimed that **they don’t offer delivery service**, even though I **confirmed with the admin beforehand** that **delivery within KK is free**.
This is by far the **worst customer experience** I’ve had with any car rental service. Their coordination is a **mess**, their **runner was rude and unreliable**, and their lack of professionalism caused **major disruption** to our plans.
🔴 I urge everyone reading this:
**Do NOT trust this service** without clear, written guarantees — and even then, prepare for last-minute disappointments.

First day rented the car, made us waited 1 hour in the airport. Keep saying 7 more mins but end up sent us car after an hour. We got the car at 11pm at night where I already told them my landing time.

Third day rented another car, terus MIA. If you have some urgent tour to go for, then they can definitely successfully ruin your day.

No briefing prior island hopping. There were thieves in Pulau Sapi who stole my rented snorkeling mask set and ended up the company charged for RM150 as penalty which is not mentioned beforehand too. Worst island hopping experience ever!

Bad experience on rental car!
The car is only allowed to drive farest to mountain kintabalu. If you want to drive further place, there will be additional charges for no less than 300 RM when drop off. This condition is listed on the terms but not be point out clearly when pick up, and we didn't notice. We rent a car for 3 days, and went to Tenom about half day, so the company refused to refund the deposit 200RM. A lot of area within Sabah is not allowed by this company, and the drop off place within KK city is free only for Gaya street, far place like UniversityUniversity drop. off will cause additional.charge. so many.unclear charges.need to be noticed befor rental.

We rented a Myvi from MK for our 5 days trip in Sabah. Mark responded promptly and is very helpful & patient answering all our queries. The car rented to us is just one month old and is very clean. I strongly recommend MK Team if you visit Sabah and looking for car rental service or even a tour guide.

Bad review! There is bug inside website as the additional hour are not automated added. The additional hour on website and f2f are different Why is there discrepancy Staff for returning car and pickup are different, all seem to be blur and unsure of the thing.
They will chg ur car type without informing too. Heard no deposit collected from another reviewer but collected 200 from me and at the end deducted alot because of miscom!!
Also they are not practicing full tank petrol, the car ady no petrol when pickup. The funny thing is staff said can pump full tank before leaving kundasang, the fact is pump on day 1, day 3 still more than half, speechless with the advise and not full tank practice is a con to rent from them.
Beware to rent from this company.
