Tempat standard budget rate..
.hati2 bila petang ada sekawan monyet cari makan... Barang jangan letak di luar. Air paip laju dan dingin. Pantai dekat tapi kalau nak ke marine park kena menapak dalam 10min. Air masak kena bawak lebih sebab air masak mahal sini.

Stayed for 3 nights over the recent Raya holidays. Unbeatable value for such big room with 1 x queen, 2 x single. Ideal for family stays. Clean, quiet, air-conditioned, and shower with good water pressure. Plenty of food within walking distance.

Beach side with clear blue water is just across the main pathway. And best of all is only about 10mins walk along the walkway to the Tioman Marine Park where one can do snorkeling and fish-feeding.

We stayed at Mokhtar’s place for 5nights in a fan room. We chose to stay here because when we enquired about visiting Tioman island few months ago, he advised us of the rainy and stormy weather and we very much appreciated his advice back then. 🙏

Mokhtar’s place is just like the photos and whilst the room is simple, it provided all it needed. Of course it got warm during the afternoon, but it cooled right down in the evening and as we were always out and about during the afternoon, this was not an issue for us.

The beach at the front is a good spot for snorkeling and this place is only a short walk away from the marine park too. There is a really nice restaurant within 5mins walk.

We recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet and calm beach getaway. Thank you ☺️

Mokhtar's Place at ABC is run by a lovely couple, Jai & Lisa. They are extremely helpful and hospitable. It is a quaint room by the beach and we had the loveliest view from our room. The room is very clean with basic facilities. It is a great place to stay for us because it was our first time exploring Tioman. It is in between Salang and Kg Tekek. You could rent a bicycle or have a slow walk to both ends. Go for the snorkel and island hopping package! Everything can be arranged by Jai & Lisa. The marine park is just a walking distance. A great place to swim with the fishes. The sunset is just awesome. A perfect getaway to quieten your thoughts and calm your soul, and made a souvenir for Mokhtar's place too! We stayed 3 nites.

My family stayed 2 night here with aircon and hot shower. The bungalow was basic but clean and cozy. (And reasonable price!) The owners are very kind and helpful.
When we arrived at ABC jetty, He picked our luggage on a motorcycle.

If you walk about 5 min, you can find great spot for snorkeling!
(Infront of a museum.)
After swimming in the sea, you can take shower outside(before you enter there room)in the middle of great garden!

Improvement opinion: Please change soap's scent.
it is quite hard to use it because of smell for Korean. We are not familiar with the scent.

1. The room and bathroom were clean. The bed and pillow were also comfy enough for sleep.

2. The seaview from the chalet was splendid. You may rest at free hammock in front of the chalet. Do not miss the sunset view.

3. The night was quite and peaceful.

4. The only setback was no in house restaurant or mini mart at the chalet. You have to walk for few minutes to nearby restaurant.

5. Not to forget that the host is friendly and welcoming to his guest. Snorkeling trips is available on site at affordable price.

6. Value for money.
