Great experience camping here on last August. The tent was provided by the staff. They put up the tent for you. Enjoy the view with bbq beside the hut. Got a clear view of Mount Kinabalu. Just set up your gears and wait till the cloud clearing its way for a majestic view.

Homestay terbaik. Warga emas friendly. Parking kereta betul betul depan rumah. Boleh masak masak kat homestay. Ada speedmart around 10km radius, ada small kedai runcit di chalet. Ada periuk nasi dan periuk masak tapi size mega. The best time untuk ambil gambar is actually masa petang sebab cahaya matahari waktu petang paling cantik. Waktu pagi matahari terlindung so tak berapa terang nampak gunung. Air sungai sejuk tapi arus agak kuat. Untuk budak2 kena ada pantauan orang dewasa atau boleh mandi seberang sungai dekat dgn chalet polumpong, arus kurang deras. Kalau boleh pergi time weekdays, kami pergi time weekend orang camping penuh so dah tak berapa nak privacy untuk mandi. Nak bergambar tepi sungai pun khemah sudah penuh dengan orang susun kerusi healing nak ootd. Anyway, servis mmg okay. Staff greet us with warm smile upon arrival. Towel pun boleh minta. Thank you. Quite an enjoyable stay.

I would like to express my dissatisfaction regarding a recent reservation experience. I have visited this campsite multiple times and truly enjoy the location and scenery. However, my booking from 19/07/2023 to 21/07/2025 did not go smoothly.

It was not our mistake that caused the issue. there was a misunderstanding regarding the reservation dates. Initially, I requested the total price for my stay to facilitate a smooth payment process. The staff member responsible confirmed the total amount via WhatsApp, and I proceeded to pay a 50% deposit accordingly.

When I arrived and checked in to settle the remaining balance everything was okay. until 20/7/2025 I was informed that the booking was only for one night due to a mistake made by the staff who took my reservation. They claimed that the price was based on a per-day basis and that I had only paid for one night, despite my understanding and previous confirmation that my booking was for two nights.

Furthermore, the staff did not acknowledge their error or provide a satisfactory resolution. Instead, they insisted that I pay for an additional night or leave. I want to clarify that the issue was not about financial inability but about receiving incorrect information and poor communication from the staff.

I hope this serves as a warning to others and encourages the management to address this matter professionally. As of now, the response has been unsatisfactory, and no solutions have been offered other than to pay extra or leave, which I believe is unfair due to the circumstances.

One of the best campsite in Kg Melangkap, Kota Belud... The campsite suitable for family and children friendly.. Beautiful stream flowing direct from Mount Kinabalu..but, They need to monitor campers to slow down karaoke sound and some young campers don't know how to respect others..they so loud and noisy playing game untill 5 morning!!! Which we can't sleep the first day!!!!!

Certain toilet also need to repair the light and door..
But satisfied the view and fasilities they offered! Overall, everything is ok.. 😊👍🏼

This is my 4th visit. The facilities are better this time. Safety and comfort being the biggest factor. It is good to have that peace of mind especially when you have small children. The majestic Akinabalu in the morning is the best one, make sure to get up early.

So the story was told - there wasn't a lot of stones but because of the unexpected earthquake in June 2015 this place are blessed with lots of lots of stone. However there's still a lot of improvement need to be done to make this place as beautiful as the scenery. It looks so empty. But it is great for sweet escape from the city though. Give it a visit and get stoned!
