Absolutely unbelievable holiday. One of the best weekend trips ever. Everything super well thought of, and Richard, Kat and the team were all amazing. Felt really well looked after and loved the entire stay.

A dream break, they picked us up from where we were staying previously, friendly and helpful staff, great welcome when we arrived on the island, they took our bags to our lodges while we enjoyed a welcome drink in the comfortable bar area, admiring the fantastic view. The food was fantastic, with snacks available from the menue through the after oon if needed, we took advantage of the scooba trips and the hike/tour round the island and thoroughly enjoyed everyone about it.

Wow this place is amazing and cannot really fault it.
Such a great place to get away from it and relax in near paradise. Great for kids but also without too. Accommodation is super basic huts. That is the vibe of the island so if you’re only after creature comforts including AC and hot running water then this isn’t for you.
Staff are all so friendly and relaxed. Food is great. Bar is very well stocked but jot the cheapest (but this is a remote island so what do you expect?). Eco creds and ethos are all strong too.

Just returned from a brilliant three night stay at Sea Gypsies. It was a straightforward trip, coming from Singapore after about 2 and a bit hours with a twenty minute boat ride to Sibu Island. What a beautiful part of the island they have! We were given a wonderful welcome with welcome drinks and a bit of info about how it all works. It’s easy to get onto the small resort’s chilled slow pace but with plenty going on if you need it. Every morning we went on a boat trip to snorkel, they have a dive centre as well, where we swam in turquoise warm waters. The dive crew seemed super knowledgeable and helpful. We went with friends and our kids were entertained through out by their bubbly, caring staff members. Activities were wholesome, no wifi, no aircon, lovely food, great drinks, awesome staff. We loved it!!|Special shout out to Billy, Perry, Skulk, the formidable story telling Richard and all of the amazing staff at Sea Gypsie! It may be the most beautiful place to visit but the the staff really do provide that little bit extra that I’ve never seen in my ten years in Asia. We will be back!!

Kelly provided excellent service during our stay!! Great host 😀. Would 100% recommend visiting this resort. Only wish I could have stayed longer. Travelled with friends, enjoyed the beachside resort, and all of the activities that they offer.

Nous sommes venus de la Suisse jusqu'à ce petit coin de paradis où nous avons passé 6 nuits en famille. Nous avons profité de faire de la plongée sous-marine. Très bon encadrement, très professionnel et ambiance très conviviale. La visibilité n'était pas idéale, mais ce n'est pas un problème, car c'est super pour la macro. Nous avons très bien mangé. Le personnel est très sympathique, souriant et toujours prêt à rendre service.
Pour les enfants, c'est le paradis. Mes enfants seraient bien restés plus longtemps et nous aussi ! Merci pour cette semaine fabuleuse !

Family of 5 with teenage kids, there is something to do for everyone here, children, teenagers, adults. Great walks and the snorkeling was really nice! The beach is kept clean (most of it, lots of trash in one end, but i guess it is really hard to keep up) and rooms are neat. Lovely restaurant staff and dive base staff.

This place is great for kids! The kids club is fantastic, the kids 3 hour dinner / entertainment is unsurpassed, the staff are super friendly and helpful. The beach is beautiful (bar the plastic waste, but that’s throughout Asia). Will definitely come again.
