free entrance and nice spot for picture. came during weekday so it was empty so very nice. i wouldnt say its suitable for any other recreational activities other than taking pictures but i think its pretty expected. didnt get to see the restroom tho so idk if it is well maintained. also if youre thirsty the guard do sell cold canned drinks

A small yet nice garden to walk around to just relax and enjoy some greenery. The garden is well kept but l felt there are not much flowers in there. There are benches to sit but not much shady areas. Parking is free and if you have time you can also visit the Museum Shah Alam just next to it and also explore the Blue Mosque nearby.

The park's 10 am opening time likely contributes to the lower crowd levels, making it a peaceful retreat. While the midday sun might deter some, the park boasts good shade coverage, and the beautiful landscaping ground creates a picturesque setting, making it ideal for photos.

For those planning a longer walk, it's worth noting that the exit/ entrance connecting to Shah Alam Lake Garden is currently blocked, which limits the potential for a continuous route.

TIPS: Every Sunday 830am to 1030am, there's a "Shah Alam Reads" community activity, can bring a book to read here in silence!

Admission is free. There are some Japanese clothes and decorations in the security room at the entrance, which should be borrowed for taking photos, but I didn't see any security guards there.

You asked me if this park looks like a Japanese park, I think it's just okay. Maybe many places are not well maintained, the water looks dirty, and the environment is a bit lifeless. I think it's a pity.

The park is very large, if you can spend some time, I think even if it's not 100% like it, at least 50% like it is good enough.

There is a Malaysian university nearby, so many graduates come here to take graduation photos.

The lakeside park, designed with beautiful Japanese elements, spans 6 acres of serene landscapes. It features picturesque carp ponds, elegant Japanese gardens, and traditional architectural details. You can sit inside a cozy pavilion, relax, and admire the tranquil surroundings, experiencing the park in a unique and peaceful way. It's a perfect spot for a leisurely stroll, photography, or simply unwinding in a setting that blends nature and culture beautifully.

This place is perfect for those who want to take beautiful photos. I saw many students taking photos in graduation robes, and some were even in suits and wedding dresses.

The surroundings are beautiful and cool, with well-maintained plants. There is a toilet available as well, though I didn’t get a chance to check it out.

There is a large parking area. There are drink sellers near the entrance gate. There are also many fish ponds here, though the water is a little murky.

I recommend coming in the morning or late afternoon when the weather is not too hot. You can also wear comfortable, sweat-absorbing clothing so you can focus on taking lots of pictures 😆

Not too big but well maintained and extremely clean, plus no entrance fee. We went on a cloudy afternoon, the weather feels just nice for a walk in the park, there was a graduation ceremony that held nearby so there's a crowd that went there after their ceremony. It started raining around evening, it was nice to just sit there watching the rain in the park, very calming. Hope they'll keep it up, will visit this place again when possible.

Small garden with free entry, the layout and decor is supposed to be like Japanese garden. The garden is clean enough, plenty of parking. Too many pre-wedding photoshoot though occupying all the good spots for photos. The one in Putra jaya is a lot better. Nothing to shout about.
