We did a three day trip to gunung tahan with SGI Outdoor. It was awesome! Sukri and his wife went way beyond to give us a really great time. Also if you are interested in caving this is the place to go. Sukri and his friend also started to build routes for rock climbing. He showed us the spot and we could climb the routes which were already done. High quality routes with high quality bolting. This is going to be THE place for rock climbing in Malaysia!

Nice place for camping, friendly and helpful staff. Can use electricity, cook, great views to the mountains. Its near a village, however the shops are poorly supplied in fresh produce, couldn't find butter, so make sure you stock up on food before coming and also call to prayers are heard early morning and late at night. Still it was great experience.
