Very disappointed with the poor service and lack of responsibility from this company.

At first, I checked with Eunice, who then passed me to Philip.

Philip gave me the wrong information and even said there was no such trip when I was ready to book. Then he just say he is oversea and no feedback, I did liaise with another worker from their office. After that, I finally managed to book through another staff Stefanie, but after waiting for so long, and been keep checking with them, but they are not reply and keep delaying. Today they only m informed me the booking was cancelled with saying due to not enough head count.

Refund is not everything. What we expected was accountability and proper customer service, but none was shown. There was no follow-up at all — we were the ones chasing for updates every time!

They don’t even bother to answer calls. They just see messages and ignore them. Extremely unprofessional.

We are grateful to Tong Yan Travel & Tours Sdn Bhd for the thoughtfully arranged five-day trip to Da Nang (February 11th to 15th, 2025). The itinerary was diverse and enriching, earning high praise. We especially commend our experienced and dedicated tour leader, whose efficient organization of activities made us feel truly cared for.

As a foreigner in Penang, I was happy to find this agency.
For whatever reason, I could not register on the KTM train website (no confirmation code was received via email); thus I could not purchase train tickets online.
Other travel agents in the area could not help -- they said 'we handle airfare and tours only'.
The staff at Tong Yan was very helpful and made the online train tix purchase I needed -- for a small fee. (Open on Saturday too).
